Automotive Apprentice

ATC has an opportunity for a 3rd 4th year automotive apprentice to assist in the repair and maintenance of forklifts based in Gregory Hills.

The successful applicant will join a fast paced team whilst completing their apprenticeship under the supervision of a senior technician. This position is an opportunity to specailise in a growing market and diversify their skillset.

The Duties Will Include

• Servicing gas, diesel and electric forklifts.
• Assisting in the repair of hydraulic systems.
• Assisting in the repair of DC electrical systems
• Keeping records on repairs and communicating these to both the client and head office.
• Adhering to all safety requirements

The Ideal Applicant Will Have The Following Qualities

• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Good time management skills
• Good record keeping skills
• Be reliable
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Forklift licence
• Excellent customer relation and communication skills
• Valid drivers licence

The position may also include a company vehicle and tools after a qualifying period.
