Key Duties Will Involve
- Managing recruitment campaigns and job advertisements for meat processing positions across the facility, ensuring alignment with role requirements, shift patterns, pay conditions, and production targets.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, recruitment agencies, and regional workforce programs.
- Coordinating end-to-end recruitment activities for both entry-level and skilled positions within the beef processing facility, assessing candidates against industry standards, physical capability requirements, and compliance obligations.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records within HR information systems.
- Coordinating onboarding and induction programs for new employees, including training in WHS, employment conditions, remuneration, and career development pathways within the organisation.
- Interpreting and communicating enterprise agreement conditions in relation to role vacancies and employment arrangements.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of workforce planning strategies and productivity initiatives to support operational efficiency in a high-volume processing environment.
- Supporting employee engagement initiatives, including participation and consultation programs, to strengthen workforce retention and ensure compliance across the facility.
Key Requirements
- Ability to work onsite, Monday- Friday 8.30am - 4pm.
- A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Alternatively, at least 5 years of relevant work experience may substitute for the qualification.
- Sound knowledge of Australian workplace relations legislation, industrial awards (particularly relevant to the meat industry), and employment conditions.
- Experience in onboarding, compliance management (e.g. work rights, WHS), and maintaining HR records.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
