The Claremont Hotel is currently looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Venue Manager to join our leadership team.

Located in the heart of Claremont, this iconic WA venue is known for its vibrant atmosphere, quality food and beverage offering, live entertainment, and strong local following. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional looking to grow their career within one of Australia’s leading hospitality groups.

As Assistant Venue Manager, you will work closely with the Venue Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the venue, lead and develop the team, and help deliver exceptional guest experiences across all areas of the business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the overall operation of the venue and leading shifts across multiple service areas
  • Driving a positive team culture and leading from the front during busy service periods
  • Assisting with staff training, performance management, rostering and team development
  • Maintaining high standards across customer service, presentation and venue operations
  • Supporting compliance, stock control, labour management and daily reporting
  • Building strong relationships with both the team and guests

What we’re looking for

  • Previous leadership experience within high-volume hospitality venues
  • Strong knowledge of AVC systems preferred
  • Solid operational understanding across compliance, stock control and team management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for hospitality, people and guest experience
  • Current RSA certification required
