Join a well-established mining contractor with a strong reputation across Australia’s mining and civil sectors. We’re currently seeking an experienced Excavator & Ancillary Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance activities on a busy Blackwater mine site operation.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing the maintenance and reliability of a large mobile fleet, with a strong focus on safety, planning, and team performance.

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising maintenance crews across excavator and ancillary equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating daily maintenance activities and shutdowns
Supervising tradespeople and maintenance personnel
Ensuring equipment availability targets are achieved
Driving safe work practices and compliance on site
Assisting with planning, scheduling, and breakdown response
Monitoring maintenance quality and workshop performance
Building strong working relationships with operations teams

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

Previous experience in a mining maintenance supervisory role
Strong knowledge of heavy mobile equipment maintenance
Proven leadership and communication skills
Commitment to safety and team culture
Current Driver’s Licence
Relevant trade qualification highly regarded
