Summary
CGC are working in collaboration with a leading tier 2 commercial building head contractor & we are currently seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join on a $28m project located near Perth Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded team with a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering quality projects across WA.
Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you will play a key role in the financial and contractual management of the project from procurement through to final accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of subcontractor procurement and letting packages
- Preparation and administration of subcontract agreements
- Cost forecasting, budgeting and monthly reporting
- Assessment and processing of progress claims and variations
- Head contract administration and client liaison
- Managing RFIs, scopes of works and procurement schedules
- Supporting the project team to ensure commercial objectives are achieved
- Assisting with project cashflow and financial performance reporting
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction
- Experience delivering projects in the $20M+ range
- Strong understanding of contracts, procurement and cost management
- Ability to work closely with site and client stakeholders
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Stable employment history with reputable builders preferred
