Remuneration: $37.48 - $52.62 per hour

What you'll be doing

As a Registered Nurse in the Huntington’s Unit, you will provide high‑quality, individualised nursing care while contributing to a safe, responsive and patient‑focused service. Recent nursing experience of at least one year as registered Nurse is highly preferred.

You will:

  • Deliver efficient, person‑centred nursing care to patients and families

  • Respond to changing clinical needs and manage competing priorities in a busy environment

  • Coordinate care and make appropriate referrals to support safe discharge planning

  • Supervise, mentor and support students and staff within your scope of practice

  • Communicate effectively to advocate for patients and manage resources responsibly

Essential Criteria

  • Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated recent nursing experience relevant to the position and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice

  • Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient care

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care

  • Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means,; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
