About the Role

Westbourne Grammar School is seeking an organised, enthusiastic and people-focused Administration Support professional to join our vibrant Music School team. This role provides essential administrative support to the Executive Administrator – Music, while assisting in the smooth day-to-day operations of the Music School.

Working closely with students, parents and staff, the position supports the efficient delivery of music programs and contributes to a positive, professional and welcoming culture within the Music School and broader school community.

This role is well suited to an experienced administrator who has a genuine interest in music and performing arts, and who thrives in a busy, community-focused environment.

About You

• Minimum 2 years’ administrative experience including data entry and customer service

• Interest in Music and Performing Arts essential

• Experience and good understanding of Microsoft Office

• Experience using school-based software is highly regarded but not essential

• Minimum Certificate III in Business Administration preferred but not essential if experienced

• School administration experience preferred but not essential

• A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) essential

Key Responsibilities Include

• First point of contact for the Music School

• Scheduling and administration of music programs, bookings and enrolments

• Processing applications for tuition, instrument hire, AMEB exams and resources

• Organising events, excursions, camps and tours

• Music library and purchase order administration

• Other duties as directed
