Electrical & Automation Lead New South Wales

Responsible for the five product phases (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing) relating to Electrical and Automation Projects (as defined by reporting Line) across New South Wales, Operational sites.

Actively support local maintenance and operational teams in optimizing & troubleshooting site electrical and automation systems.

Create new or modify existing PLC and SCADA programmes to support plant improvement, reliability and capital investment

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and maintain strong working knowledge of industry standards.

Liaise with Project or Site Managers to co-ordinate, plan, and execute all defined tasks.

Ensure compliance with ALL Omya’s policies and procedures.

Implement continuous improvement of plant assets, infrastructure and process sys-tems.

Support standardisation of Omya automation platforms to align with group standards. For example, Omya 10 and Cimplicity (where applicable).

Lead site commissioning for electrical, automation and instrumentation components of projects across New South Wales, Operational Sites.

Take immediate action to; control and report Environmental, Health & Safety, Quality risks and prevent incidents.
