About the role
Join a high-performing team as a Quality Advisor, leading the coordination and improvement of the PTA Project Delivery Quality Management System in line with AS/NZS ISO 9001. You will manage internal audits across quality, risk and rail safety, support supplier and process reviews, and deliver clear reporting to project teams to drive continuous improvement and strong project outcomes.
Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide expert advice on quality and risk, support audit and risk programs, and contribute to safety and compliance initiatives across the division. This role offers the opportunity to influence best practice, strengthen systems, and help deliver safe, high-quality infrastructure projects.
About You!
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) with strong expertise in quality assurance, quality management systems, and risk management principles.
- Certified Lead Auditor with proven experience auditing quality and safety management systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to analyse data, produce reports, and provide improvement recommendations.
- Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision, delivering tasks effectively and supporting team capability development.

There is currently one fixed term opportunity available for three years with the possibility of renewal and/or permanency. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process will be placed in a pool and may be used to fill similar vacancies on a fixed term or permanent basis that may arise within the next 12 months.
To be eligible to work at the PTA you must be either an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident or hold a valid work visa and full working rights for the term of the contract.
