In the role of Head of Transactions Monitoring Detection, you will be required to deliver for Executive-level Leadership across the Enterprise, doubling down on customer obsession and owning it.

Each day you will go above and beyond to:

  • Develop new detection capabilities to enhance the financial crime risk coverage utilising exiting and new technologies.

  • Optimise performance of detection scenarios and rules with view of enhancing operational efficiency

  • Manage ongoing reviews and analysis to ensure detection scenarios and rules are operating as designed.

  • Oversight over outputs generated from detection capabilities and workflow management

  • Proactively manage success measures.

  • Manage and motivate a high performing team.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Proven experience with data analytics and detection management

  • Knowledge of Financial Crime risk indicators and adherence to local and international regulator guidance

  • Sound strategic concepts and implementation of financial crime detections strategies and risks

  • Advanced data analytics and strong data mining experience and working with large datasets and different data lakes

  • Strong working knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, SAS, Python, PySpark, Scala, R

  • Understanding of financial crime risk management methodologies and practises.

  • Understands new and emerging technologies, considers future focused and innovative opportunities to position for long term success.

  • Strategy Formulation – able to navigate complexity, identify key value drivers and execute on appropriate strategic choices.
