The Opportunity

We are seeking a Director Casino Marketing to lead the commercial performance and growth of a high-value VIP portfolio. Reporting to the General Manager VIP Services, this role is accountable for driving revenue through strategic VIP relationship management, targeted acquisition, and disciplined financial oversight. You will identify and convert new business opportunities across existing and emerging markets, while ensuring all engagement aligns with Crown’s regulatory framework and responsible gaming obligations. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role requiring strong commercial acumen, market insight, and the ability to deliver exceptional, personalised VIP experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and drive the commercial performance of a top-tier VIP portfolio, delivering revenue growth, share of wallet, and long-term value

  • Identify, target, and convert new VIP business opportunities across Victoria

  • Develop and execute Casino Marketing strategies aligned to enterprise priorities, balancing customer engagement, profitability, and compliance obligations

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with high-value VIP guests, delivering tailored and differentiated experiences

  • Analyse portfolio performance, reinvestment strategies, and campaign outcomes to optimise return and inform decision-making

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and regulators to ensure all VIP engagement and programs operate within risk, compliance, and governance frameworks

  • Manage guest reinvestment, benefits, and credit within approved limits, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and profitability

  • Lead the resolution of complex or escalated VIP guest matters with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgement

  • Leverage market intelligence, competitor insights, and gaming trends to identify opportunities and maintain competitive advantage

What You’ll Bring

  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in casino marketing, VIP portfolio management, premium gaming, or a comparable commercial environment

  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets, and expanding high-value client portfolios

  • Expert-level capability in managing VIP relationships, delivering personalised experiences, and influencing loyalty and retention

  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing reinvestment, credit, profitability, and financial performance metrics

  • Deep understanding of gaming operations, premium player programs, and regulatory frameworks including AML and responsible gaming obligations

  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience working across senior leadership, regulators, and cross-functional teams

  • Advanced analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data and market insights into actionable strategies

  • High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism when managing confidential guest and business information

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail and sound judgement

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Finance, or equivalent professional experience, with ability to obtain required casino licences
