People Projects Manager

This role is ideally suited to someone with deep HR business partnering experience, who enjoys solving complex people challenges through organisational development, developing and rolling out frameworks, and enterprise-wide initiatives. Working closing with our HR partnering teams supporting our Support Centre, Customer Care and Distribution Centre teams, you will translate business needs into practical, scalable and impactful people solutions.

The Role You Could Play

Reporting to the Head of Capability & Workplace Relations, you will partner closely with the broader People & Education team to drive people programs and organisational development initiatives across MECCA’s Support Centre, Distribution Centre and Customer Care teams. You will:

  • Influence, work constructively with and support HR Business Partners to deliver people programs and organisational development initiatives across Support Centre, Customer Care and Distribution Centre teams
  • Drive the evolution and architecture of people frameworks including performance & growth, role levels, remuneration, competencies and talent programs
  • Partner with stakeholders to diagnose people and organisational challenges, and design scalable processes, frameworks, tools and initiatives to address them
  • Act as a strategic problem-solving partner to the HR Business Partnering team for Support Centre, Distribution Centre and Customer Care, on business-unit-wide people priorities
  • Leverage workforce analytics, reporting and people insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Translate business strategy into scalable, practical and impactful people solutions

What You Will Bring

You are a highly organised and proactive people professional who enjoys solving problems, working collaboratively with stakeholders, building frameworks and driving initiatives in fast-paced environments. While this role works closely with leaders and HR Business Partners across the business, it is not a traditional client-group HRBP role. Instead, the focus is on solving enterprise people challenges through frameworks, programs, analytics and strategic project delivery. Ideally, you will bring:

  • 7+ years’ experience across HR business partnering, people program development, organisational development, or broader strategic people roles, ideally supporting corporate or office-based client groups in complex environments
  • Proven experience leading people initiatives and developing scalable frameworks in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong foundational HR experience, with the ability to apply commercial and people insights to organisational challenges
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise people frameworks, programs and change initiatives in partnership with HR teams and business leaders
  • A genuine interest in or past experience thriving in, an environment away from day-to-day HR partnering with client groups, and into enterprise people strategy, organisational effectiveness and large-scale people initiatives
  • Strong analytical, communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and execution
  • Experience using HR systems and analytics tools such as Workday, Excel, Lumos or similar
