Shift Hours

• 4:00 PM – Midnight
• 7 days on, 7 days off roster

Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Evening Medical Administration Shift Leader to join our team. In this role, you will support the overnight operations of the department, ensuring workflows run efficiently and critical tasks are managed effectively. You will play a key role in coordinating staff, monitoring workloads, and maintaining strong communication across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate patient and staff lists.
• Compile and report nightly operational statistics.
• Monitor rosters and escalate urgent coverage gaps where required.
• Support overnight workflow coordination and prioritisation of tasks.
• Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the shift.
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a medical administration or shift coordination role.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Confidence using computer systems and healthcare software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
