About The Role
The Warehouse Operator / Counter Sales role is a Full-time position, based at Orange, NSW. Reporting to the Store Manager you will join our Gyprock business and assist in the customer service and warehouse duties.
In This Role You Will
- Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers
- To assist in the day-to-day activities within the store
- Stock movements and the maintenance of stock
- Loading trucks with customer orders for distribution and comply with safety requirements
- Unloading inbound orders of stock
- Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift or manually as required.
- Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to
- Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping.
- Accompany drivers and assist with two‑man hand unloads when required
Hours of working are Monday – Friday 0700-1500.
About You
- Current forklift license with sufficient experience.
- Ability to lift and move heavy products as required (manual handling involved).
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures are essential.
- Strong communication skills and listening skills, with the ability to build relationships
