This is an opportunity for a seasoned Used Car Sales Manager who knows the role inside and out (bringing a minimum of 3yrs experience) and is ready to hit the ground running. The team is in place; the infrastructure is there — what's missing is the right leader to drive it forward.

The opportunity

Based at a well-established automotive site in Castle Hill, this is a standalone used car operation with a team ready to perform. You won't be spending time on building from scratch — you'll be stepping into a functioning department and taking it to the next level.

What's needed is someone with real depth in used car operations — someone who has done this job before, understands what drives results, and brings the energy and expertise to get the most out of the team around them.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage an established used car sales team, driving performance and accountability day to day.
  • Own the used car operation end to end — stock acquisition, pricing, presentation, and turn.
  • Drive volume and GP results consistently, with a sharp eye on margins.
  • Uphold a high standard of customer experience across every stage of the sales process.
  • Monitor market trends and ensure the yard is stocked competitively and priced to move.
  • Report on performance and maintain a culture of high output and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Used Car Sales Manager — you've done this job and done it well.
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to get the best out of an established team.
  • Strong knowledge of used car acquisition, appraisals, pricing strategy, and stock management.
  • Commercial acumen — you understand margin, turn, and what it takes to run a profitable used car department.
  • A hard-working, results-driven approach with no need for hand-holding
  • Current NSW driver's licence and the right to work in Australia
