You will play a pivotal role in securing the technology platforms that support millions of Queenslanders every day.

Lead a Business-Critical $60M+ Cyber Transformation Program

Take ownership of one of the largest and most strategically important cyber security uplift programs in Queensland, driving enterprise-wide security maturity through to 2030.

Operate at Executive and Strategic Level

Work directly with senior leadership including the CIO, GM Cyber Architecture & Technology and GM Grid Technology, while influencing Cyber Steering Committees and enterprise-wide decision making.

High-Impact Critical Infrastructure Environment

Play a key role in protecting essential services and ensuring compliance with evolving Security of Critical Infrastructure (SoCI) obligations in a highly regulated and nationally significant industry.

Broad Enterprise Cyber Scope with Modern Technologies

Deliver large-scale initiatives across Zero Trust, IAM, PAM, PKI, Network Segmentation, DLP, MFA and Governance frameworks including ISO27001, NIST, AESCSF and Essential Eight — providing genuine breadth and complexity rarely found in a single role.

Program Delivery

Lead and develop a large, high-performing team of project delivery and cyber security professionals, fostering strong execution, accountability and delivery excellence across the program

About You

You are a proven Program Manager who has built a reputation for successfully delivering complex enterprise programs, ideally within Cyber Security.

You will bring:

  • Strong program and project management capability, ideally supported by PMP, PRINCE2, MSP or Agile certifications;
  • Solid understanding of cyber security frameworks, controls and compliance obligations including ISO27001, NIST, Essential Eight, AESCSF and SoCI;
  • Ability to engage, influence and communicate effectively with senior executives and key stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated expertise managing program budgets, schedules, risks, dependencies and governance frameworks;
  • Experience leading vendors, managed service providers and third-party delivery partners;
  • Knowledge of enterprise cyber security principles, standards and risk management practices;
  • Cyber security certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC highly regarded; and
  • Experience working within large, regulated or Government Owned Corporation environments is advantageous although other complex or regulated environments (e.g. financial services, government, critical infrastructure) will be highly regarded.
