Details: Are you an experienced psychologist with an interest in child development, early intervention and neurodiversity? An exciting opportunity exists to join an expanding psychology team in the Child Development Service. The Child Development Service offers psychologists:
- The opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in working with infants and young children and their families.
- Experience in advanced, neuro-affirming autism assessment and the opportunity to shape service delivery.
- Collaboration within a social, supportive, multidisciplinary team environment to develop and deliver group programs and short term supports for children with developmental delay and their families.
- Access to strong individualised support and supervision and opportunities to build supervisory skills.
- Access to paid professional development.
- Some flexibility in working hours with an openness to continuing with private practice work.

Eligibility/Other requirements
- At least five years recent experience working with children and families and training in autism assessment.
- Current registration as a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Clinical, Educational and Developmental Endorsement is desirable but not required.
- This position requires a current Australian Drivers Licence.
- As this role is likely to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and young people, cultural awareness, and capacity to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is highly desirable.
Notes: This position is part-time at (33:04) hours per week and the full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
