Business Analyst

Our client is hunting for a Cyber Security Business to join the team on a contract role.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers or Agile Delivery Leads, by proactively utilizing your experience to engage stakeholders, anticipate and initiative activities, resource requirements and support to drive momentum and positive outcomes.
• Gather security, business and technology requirements and map to solution delivery, to ensure there is traceability of the solution back to requirements.
• The ability to understand and negotiate the needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders, ensuring requirements are captured, prioritised and addressed accordingly as part of the project delivery.
• Work within Jira to write & maintain user stories & acceptance criteria’s, upload estimations, mapping user stories to requirements etc.
• Facilitate agile stand ups as required and ensure the team is clear on the sprint goals and what classifies as being ‘done’.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• 2-5 years of Business Analyst experience ideally within a medium to large organisation and working on Cyber Security type project/program.
• Sound knowledge of governance risk and compliance processes.
• Sound knowledge of Cloud Security, compliance and vulnerability management.
• Sound knowledge of Jira and Service Now
• Experience in the Agile methodology and using the Jira tool to create user stories and acceptance criteria
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A can-do attitude and a good team player, but able to work independently and effectively on their own, without much direction.
• Appropriate Cyber Security and IT relevant industry experience

Qualifications

• Undergraduate/Postgraduate degrees or other qualifications required to perform the role at a fully competent level
• Proven experience of end-to-end Business Analysis activities across various Cyber Security projects - delivering process improvements, capability enablement/enhancements across the Insurance or Financial services industry highly preferred.
