About The Role
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering key project sections, supporting program outcomes, and ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with the Project Manager and site teams to drive productivity, manage subcontractors, and maintain strong commercial and contractual performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver assigned project sections in line with program, quality, and safety expectations
- Support short-term planning, coordination, and onsite productivity
- Manage subcontractors, procurement activities, and contract administration
- Monitor project costs, track productivity, and contribute to forecasting and reporting
- Identify and assist in managing project risks, delays, and opportunities
- Maintain strong HSEQ standards and contribute to a positive safety culture
- Build effective relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
Your Skills And Experience
- Proven experience in a similar capacity within building construction
- Experience delivering commercial, health, or complex building projects
- Experience managing or supporting delivery of project sections
- Strong capability in program coordination, subcontractor management, and cost control
- Understanding of contractual processes and project delivery frameworks
- Ability to prioritise tasks and perform in a fast-paced project environment
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or Construction Management
