YOUR NEXT ROLE
Due to internal movements within our business Hyne are offering exciting opportunities to grow, develop and learn as a Process Operator - Fabricator. The Process Operator – Fabricator (CNC / Machining) is responsible for assembling, machining, finishing and preparing timber products, to specification, for dispatch to our customers.
All our people go home in the same condition they came to work; safety before production.
Management is confident in your ability to interpret technical drawings and data and in ensuring the product designs and finished work are within specified guidelines.
Identify non-conformances and preserve the maintenance of machines and plant to ensure continuous reliability with limited downtime.
Analyse and optimise programming and processing capability to enable capacity and growth through the plant.
ABOUT YOU
Minimum carpentry skills with timber and commercial experience or trade-qualified carpenter.
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
Ability to operate or support CNC machinery (desirable but not essential).
Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, job sheets or production specifications.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Certificate III in Forest and Forest Products and/or Competitive Systems and Practices is highly regarded.
Demonstrated ability to deliver key outcomes aligned to safety, quality and operational performance.
