The successful applicant will be offered remuneration that is commensurate with their skills and experience and in alignment with this framework.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Sport, TV & Online Content, and the General Manager of Streaming & Digital Products, the Team Assistant will play a key role supporting the Streaming & Digital Products and SBS Sport teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across two fast-paced and high-performing departments.
This role provides executive and administrative support while also acting as a key culture champion across the teams â helping foster connection, collaboration and a positive team environment. It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to the operational side of two innovative content and digital teams, while building strong relationships across the broader SBS business and developing pathways into future opportunities within media, content and digital.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing complex diaries, meetings, communications and travel coordination for senior leaders
Coordinating presentations, business cases, team events and departmental administration
Supporting team culture initiatives, recognition activities and office operations
Providing responsive support across the SBS Sport and Streaming & Digital Products, balancing competing priorities and supporting ad hoc requests
About you
We’re looking for someone who brings:
Previous experience in a Team Assistant, Executive Assistant or similar administrative support role within a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging across all levels of an organisation
A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and work with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience managing administrative systems andtravel bookings
