Fit Litter isn't your average pet brand. Born from a mission to create simple, everyday solutions that help cat owners stay proactive about their cat's health, they've grown from a small challenger brand into an 8-figure category disruptor across AU, UK and NZ. They're powered by performance marketing, genuinely innovative products, and a relentless creative output.
They operate like a small team that plays big. Autonomy, ownership, candour and high trust are the cultural pillars. Egos are left at the door. And while the growth has been explosive, they are nowhere near done.
They're now entering Stage 2; expanding internationally, launching major new product lines, and building a world-class content and growth engine. Central to that is a fully-equipped in-house production studio and a performance creative function that needs a leader.
This is not a traditional Head of Creative role. It's a hybrid commercial and creative leadership position for someone who thinks like a direct-response advertiser, has the taste and instincts of a creative director, and the systems brain of an operator. You'll own paid social creative strategy and build the machine that turns audiences into customers at scale, with predictability.

What you'll be doing
- Lead the paid social creative team end-to-end. You'' be setting direction, standards, and the quality bar for every ad that leaves the building across Meta, TikTok and emerging platforms
- Build a structured testing and iteration system that produces winning creative with predictability, not by accident
- Translate ad performance data (CTR, CPA, hook rate, hold rate, ROAS, thumbstop) into clear, actionable creative direction
- Develop frameworks for hooks, messaging angles, offer positioning, and ad structures the team can deploy consistently
- Train and mentor creative strategists and editors, building a strong feedback culture and raising the ceiling of what the team can produce
- Partner with the Head of Marketing & Brand to ensure paid creative reinforces rather than fragments the brand
- Influence landing pages, CRO, offers and funnel design where they materially affect creative performance
What you'll bring
- 5+ years in performance creative, paid social creative strategy, or a closely related discipline
- A demonstrable track record of leading or producing ads that scaled significantly. You can show the work and the numbers
- Deep, hands-on fluency in how Meta and TikTok creative actually works today. Not theoretical.
- Strong DTC and eCommerce background, ideally in brands heavily reliant on paid social
- An elite understanding of direct-response advertising and sales psychology, think hooks, emotional triggers, objections, proof, offer positioning, persuasion frameworks
- Experience building repeatable creative systems and testing processes
- Real leadership experience. You've mentored creatives, raised standards, and built accountability inside a team
- Strong creative taste paired with a commercial, conversion-first mindset
- Bonus: experience with Google Ads, CRO, landing page strategy, or full-funnel performance
