Intrinzic is partnering with a leading Australian FinTech currently investing heavily in cloud engineering, platform reliability and infrastructure transformation.
We are seeking a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team responsible for delivering secure, scalable and highly available cloud platform services across critical enterprise environments.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a modern AWS and Kubernetes ecosystem, focused on automation, operational resilience, observability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor and improve cloud infrastructure and platform services
- Support highly available AWS and Kubernetes environments
- Automate operational workflows and infrastructure management
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions
- Contribute to CI/CD engineering and platform reliability initiatives
- Support incident response, resilience and operational improvement activities
- Collaborate with Cloud, Platform, Engineering and Service teams
Key Experience
- Strong AWS cloud engineering experience
- Hands-on Kubernetes/EKS experience
- Infrastructure as Code expertise using Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK
- CI/CD pipeline experience using GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket
- Experience with automation and scripting using Python, TypeScript or similar
- Strong understanding of observability, monitoring and platform resilience
- Experience within enterprise or high-availability environments
Desirable
- SRE or platform engineering background
- Experience with microservices and containerised environments
- Cloud security and vulnerability management exposure
- ITIL, AWS or SRE certifications
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity with hybrid working arrangements based in Sydney.
