The Role

This is a flagship leadership opportunity, responsible for driving the overall performance and success of a high-profile Sydney Boutique. As the Boutique Director, you will operate with full ownership of the business, leading all commercial, operational, and people-related aspects while delivering an exceptional and immersive client experience. You will act as a true business leader, driving sales growth, profitability, and brand presence, while leading a high-performing team and creating a dynamic environment that attracts both clients and industry engagement.

Key Responsibilities

You will take full accountability for the commercial performance of the boutique, driving sales across multiple channels while ensuring profitability and operational efficiency. A core focus will be building, leading, and developing a high-performing team, setting clear performance expectations, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. You will champion a world-class client experience, embedding a strong clienteling culture that drives long-term relationships and repeat business. The role also involves overseeing all boutique operations, including merchandising, inventory, administration, and compliance, ensuring the space consistently reflects the highest brand standards.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in a senior retail leadership role, ideally within luxury or premium environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing sales performance, KPIs, and profitability
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Expertise in delivering exceptional client experiences and building long-term relationships
  • Strong operational capability across inventory, reporting, and showroom management
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive initiatives, events, and business growth
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach with a strong sense of ownership
