About the Role

As a Senior Accountant within the Business Advisory team, you will work closely with Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality accounting, taxation and advisory services across a varied client portfolio.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of clients and technical work, along with genuine opportunities for career progression and development. You will also have the opportunity to build your advisory capability beyond compliance-focused work and become a trusted advisor to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns and supporting work papers
• Delivery of accounting, taxation and business advisory services
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Assisting with workflow management, billing and WIP
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional advisory services
• Contributing to process improvements and internal initiatives

About You

You will ideally bring:

• CA or CPA qualification (completed or near completion)
• 3+ years’ experience within public practice
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting and tax standards
• Experience with Xero or similar systems
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset
• A genuine desire to develop and progress your career
