ABOUT THE ROLE

The King’s School, Preparatory School is seeking a talented, creative Visual Arts Teacher to inspire students as inquirers, thinkers and global citizens. The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative team of educators, utilising innovative pedagogy and personalised pastoral care. Our 320-acre campus provides a unique opportunity for experiential teaching, holistic adventure and professional creativity. There are extensive opportunities for professional learning, mentorship and development.

Please note, this opportunity is a permanent full-time opportunity at The King's Preparatory School in North Parramatta, ideally commencing in Term 3, 2026.

The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate:

• The ability to develop strong relationships with students and a passion for boys’ education
• A high level of pedagogical understanding in both inquiry and explicit teaching
• Expertise in teaching Visual Arts using a variety of media
• An excellent understanding of assessment informed practice
• Strong communication skills
• A high level of collaborative practice
• A commitment to professional learning and continuous improvement
• Ability to contribute to the School community through involvement in Co-curricular activities, including Art Club
