EVENT PHOTOGRAPHER (Studio + Roving)

At Your Photographer, we specialise in high school formals and large-scale school events across South East Queensland. We’re currently growing our photography team and looking for people who are passionate about photography, good with people and excited to work in a fast-paced event environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You’ll be part of a professional team capturing some of the biggest nights in students’ lives.

Depending on the event, you may be:

• Running an on-site portrait studio

• Photographing car arrivals and red carpet moments

• Capturing roving candids and social shots

• Photographing groups and posed portraits

• Assisting with setup and pack down

• Helping with on-site printing and customer interaction

Most shifts take place Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, usually starting around 4pm.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We care just as much about attitude as experience.

You’ll likely be a great fit if you:

• Are confident using a DSLR or mirrorless camera

• Have event photography experience OR photography training and a strong desire to learn

• Are friendly, confident and good with people

• Can direct individuals and groups professionally

• Stay calm under pressure

• Have exceptional attention to detail

• Can follow systems and work as part of a team

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• DSLR or mirrorless camera

• 24–70mm or 24–105mm lens

• Speedlight flash

• Reliable transport

• Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one)

PAY + PERKS

• $35–$50 per hour depending on experience and role
