Cyber Security Project Manager with a leading infrastructure client (consulting through FinXL)

FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors.

FinXL is seeking a Cyber Security Project Manager to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading infrastructure client on a 6+ months contract in North Sydney.

Responsibilities

Take over and drive existing initiatives within the dedicated cyber security program.
Manage deliverables across Operational Security, Data Security, and Identity and Access Management streams.
Ensure project milestones are achieved on time, within scope, and aligned with budget requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to maintain momentum on security delivery.

Key Skills & Experience

Proven track record as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex technology initiatives.
Strong delivery experience working specifically on dedicated Cyber Security projects or programs.
Prior experience or background with Essential Eight (E8) Maturity Level 2 uplift activities.
Demonstrated ability to step into active projects and successfully take over inflight streams.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to drive alignment across teams.

Engagement Details

6+ months contract with infrastructure client.
Hybrid working model with 3 days/ week in the office in North Sydney.
