Every fridge tells a story. This one is ours — and it’s getting bigger.
Chobani Australia was formed in 2011 following the acquisition of Gippsland Dairy, alongside the Chobani brand. Guided by our belief that food can be a force for good — and our purpose, Good Food For All — we make Chobani and Gippsland Dairy yogurt in Dandenong South, focusing on food that’s delicious, nutritious, natural and accessible.
We’re building the next chapter of growth — investing in major site upgrades and new capability to meet demand and deliver on our aspiration: in every fridge, everywhere, every day.
Chobani is a place for people who like pace and ownership. We keep standards high, back people to stretch, and hire for attitude — if you set goals, deliver, learn fast and keep raising the bar, you’ll feel right at home here.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a creative, commercially minded Corporate Communications Specialist to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
You’ll partner closely with the Corporate Affairs & Communications Manager to shape how Chobani shows up – inside the business and out in the world. This is a reputation-first comms role: building trust with employees, stakeholders and the wider community through strong owned channels, internal communications and change communications.
If you love storytelling, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and can build strong relationships across a business – this one’s for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and run content across our key channels – LinkedIn, corporate website/newsroom, and our internal comms network.
- Create internal communications that keep our people informed, connected and celebrated.
- Support business transformation by leading clear, practical change communications – working with project leads and leaders across the business.
- Partner cross-functionally with leaders across Operations, Commercial, Marketing and People teams – and confidently chase inputs, approvals and decisions when needed.
- Track performance across channels and continuously improve how we plan, publish and measure communications.
Support external communications and PR, stakeholder engagement and reputation-building initiatives.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in communications, internal communications, corporate affairs or a related field.
- Exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills across internal and external audiences.
- Experience managing digital and owned platforms, including LinkedIn and web content.
- A clear understanding of company reputation and how comms builds trust with stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the business.
- Solid governance discipline – accuracy, approvals and high attention to detail.
- Comfort creating day-to-day comms assets (e.g. Canva) and working across Word/PowerPoint. A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused mindset – you like pace, ownership and making things better.
While technical capability is important, this role is best suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships and is passionate about creating meaningful communication that drives engagement and connection.
