What you'll contribute to
An exciting opportunity for a Professional Development Coordinator to join our People & Culture division in a permanent full-time role.
The People and Culture Division lead the delivery of strategic, people-focused initiatives across Toyota, fostering a safe and inclusive workplace where employees can reach their full potential. It provides high-quality HR consultancy, training, and development services to Toyota teams and One Toyota affiliates through a shared services model.
This includes end-to-end organisational development supported by professional learning programs, as well as HR advisory services in areas such as health and safety, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and talent acquisition. These services are enabled by the use of advanced technology platforms and systems.
The Professional Development Coordinator supports the planning, delivery, and evaluation of professional development programs by providing both administrative and operational assistance. The role ensures the effective coordination of learning activities, oversees logistical arrangements, and facilitates communication with participants and stakeholders to maximise the impact and accessibility of development initiatives.
This role is based in Altona North with flexible work arrangements on offer.
How you'll make an impact
- Coordinate and deliver end-to-end training program and event logistics, including scheduling, stakeholder management, and learning management system (LMS) administration.
- Enable effective training delivery by aligning schedules with business priorities, engaging stakeholders, and proactively managing issues and risk escalation.
- Maintain accurate data and reporting systems, including the LMS, to deliver timely insights that inform planning, budgeting, forecasting, and program delivery.
- Create clear and engaging reports and updates to inform and support leadership decision-making.

- Qualification in business, management, finance, marketing, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organisational, coordination, administrative, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to engage and support a range of stakeholders.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including the use of complex formulas and pivot tables, with the ability to analyse and visualise data.
- Proven ability to deliver effective services and solutions that support business needs and outcomes.
