Lead a Thriving, Well-Established OSHC Service at White Rock State School
Be part of a long-standing, community focused White Rock Fun Squad OSHC service at White Rock State School, where no two days are the same. This is a genuine opportunity for a leader who wants to make the service their own, bringing their leadership style, culture, and ideas to shape a thriving OSHC environment.
You will be supported by a local Area Manager and a strong partnership with the White Rock State School Principal and wider school community. The service operates under a pack up, pack down model and makes full use of expansive spaces, including the oval and playgrounds, with access to an on-site kitchen and multiple activity areas.

About the Role
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with government legislation, the National Quality Framework and organisational requirements. You will play a key role in building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, strengthening community engagement and driving commitment to the PCYC brand.
About You
You are a confident and capable leader with a passion for creating safe, engaging and high-quality environments for children and families. You bring demonstrated experience leading OSHC teams, strong operational knowledge and the ability to build positive relationships across staff, schools and the wider community.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum Diploma in Childhood Studies (or equivalent approved qualification), or a minimum Certificate III in Childhood Studies while actively working towards a Diploma qualification recognised by the regulatory authority
- A current child protection qualification including one of the following: CHCPRT025 – Identify and report children and young people at risk CHCPRT026 – Support the rights and safety of children and young people CHCECE057 – Use collaborative practices to uphold child protection principles
- The ability to take on the responsibilities of Nominated Supervisor
- Demonstrated knowledge of legislation, regulations and compliance requirements governing Fun Squad operations
- Proven experience leading and managing teams within an OSHC or similar environment
- A current Working with Children Check/Blue Card, or the ability to obtain one
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, or the ability to obtain
- A current open driver’s licence and willingness to operate a 12-seater minibus
- If undertaking bus driving duties, you will also hold or be eligible to obtain: A Light Rigid or Medium Rigid driver’s licence with eligibility for an RDA A Queensland Transport Driver Authorisation Card
