As a Contract Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of a Residential Development

Working closely with the project team, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration of all construction contracts, ensuring compliance, and managing contractual risks. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of the project, ensuring its timely completion and overall success.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and negotiate construction contracts for the defence project
  • Manage variations, claims, disputes, and ensure contractual compliance
  • Work closely with project teams to align contracts with project needs
  • Prepare progress claims, payment certificates, and financial reports
  • Monitor contractor performance and compliance
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder and subcontractor relationships
  • Conduct contract risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
  • Support resolution of contractual disputes
  • Stay current with industry standards and legal requirements

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ contract admin experience in construction, including $50M+ projects
  • Strong understanding of contracts, legislation, codes, and standards
  • Skilled in negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management
  • Detail-oriented with a structured approach to contract processes
  • Ideally experience on Residential apartments or social housing Projects
  • Team player with solid collaboration skills
  • Proficient in contract systems and MS Office
  • Tertiary qualifications in construction or QS preferred
