Senior Project Manager

RPS is seeking a qualified and experienced client-side Senior Project Manager or Project Manager to join our growing team in our Alice Springs Office on a full-time permanent basis initially working on the Mutitjulu Essential Services and Renewables Project in the remote Indigenous township of Mutitjulu in the shadow of the iconic Uluru.
This is a drive in drive out role on a rotating Monday to Friday roster with the off week working on the project from our Alice Springs Office where you can experience Central Australia and the outdoor pursuits of the stunning McDonald Ranges.
The project role comes with a salary uplift and meal and incidental allowance whilst on site and travelling during the project. Relocation assistance to Alice Springs is available.

What You'll Need To Succeed
- 10+ years of demonstrated recent construction project experience with client-side project experience desirable for the SPM role.
- 5+ years of demonstrated recent construction project experience with client-side project experience desirable for the PM role.
- Professional qualifications in project management, architectural, engineering, construction management or similar.
- Civil engineering experience with power distribution, sewer and water infrastructure and/or solar installations and Battery Energy Storage Systems is highly desirable
- A strong understanding and proven experience in managing construction contracts and contract administration, with managing contractor contract experience is highly desirable.
- Strong client and stakeholder management, as well as leadership skills.
- Well-developed spoken and reporting/ writing skills with strong competence in computer software including the ability to use the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with Microsoft Project desirable.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Completed construction site health and safety course.
- AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.
