About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Product Manager to join our Operational Technology (OT) team in a full-time and permanent capacity based at our Melbourne CBD head office.
This role is critical to leading the OT investment pipeline across a multi-year regulatory cycle for our business, shaping how we modernise our network—turning complex challenges into clear, prioritised, and value-driven initiatives.
This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of technology, network operations, and regulation, where your decisions directly influence safety, reliability, and future network capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and prioritise OT technology investments in partnership with senior stakeholders, balancing competing business needs and trade-offs
- Lead the development of robust, end-to-end business cases, including costs, benefits, risks, and investment options.
- Translate strategic direction into a clear, integrated technology roadmap aligned to network and regulatory objectives.
- Manage and optimise a multi-vendor technology ecosystem, ensuring solutions deliver cohesive business value.
- Provide independent, evidence-based insights on vendors, market trends, and emerging technologies.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor, confidently influencing and challenging decisions where needed.
- Continuously improve investment planning, governance, and product management practices to enhance speed, clarity, and consistency.

To succeed in this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in IT/Computer Science or business-related discipline preferred
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, strategic business decisions
- Demonstrated commercial acumen, including understanding financial and regulatory impacts of investments
- Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment across competing priorities
- Solid background in product management or delivering business value through technology initiatives
- Experience working in complex, multi-vendor environments and managing vendor performance
- Confidence to challenge decisions, prioritise effectively, and navigate difficult conversations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, bridging technical and business audiences.
