Site Engineer – Class 2 Apartments & Mixed-Use Developments (Tier 2 Developer/Builder)

We’re partnering with a highly regarded 4 Gold Star iCIRT-rated Sydney Tier 2 Developer/Builder to appoint an experienced Site Engineer to join the delivery team on a Class 2 residential apartment development based in Campbelltown, NSW.

About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of a large-scale Class 2 residential apartment project currently under construction in Campbelltown, NSW.

Projects typically include:

• Class 2 residential apartment developments
• Multi-storey residential and mixed-use developments

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily construction activities across site
• Assist with short-term programming, sequencing, and delivery planning
• Manage subcontractor coordination and site logistics
• Monitor quality assurance and compliance with project specifications
• Ensure WHS standards and site safety requirements are maintained
• Review drawings, RFIs, shop drawings, and technical documentation
• Track project progress and support reporting to the Project Manager and Site Manager
• Liaise with consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams
• Support project coordination from structure through to finishes and handover

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer within a Tier 2 developer-builder environment
• Strong background delivering Class 2 residential apartment developments
• Experience working on projects within the $30M–$100M+ range preferred
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, QA, and site coordination
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documentation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
