Senior Planner / Scheduler – Asset Retirement

Location: Perth, Australia

Contract Duration: until May 2027

About The Role

Airswift is seeking an experienced Senior Planner / Scheduler to join a major capital projects team supporting a high-profile asset retirement programme in Australia. This role will take ownership of developing and maintaining an integrated schedule across all phases of the decommissioning lifecycle, from mobilisation through to execution and remediation.

This is a key position within a small, collaborative team and offers the opportunity to contribute to a complex, large-scale programme with significant industry visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Establish schedule baselines and track project progress across multiple workstreams
  • Identify and monitor critical path activities, risks and constraints
  • Produce schedule updates, forecasts and progress reports for stakeholders
  • Coordinate closely with project teams, discipline leads, production and support functions
  • Support resource planning, manning profiles and schedule optimisation
  • Work alongside cost teams to ensure alignment between schedule and cost reporting

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Planner / Scheduler within major projects environments
  • Strong proficiency inPrimavera P6 scheduling
  • Demonstrated experience in decommissioning, shutdowns, brownfield or major maintenance projects
  • Ability to manage integrated schedules across complex, multi-disciplinary scopes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Power BI or data visualisation tools
  • Knowledge of resource levelling and manning histogram reporting
  • Exposure to cost integration, assurance processes and lessons learned activities
