Location: Sydney CBD or Western Sydney | Hybrid

Working hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week

About The Role

A leading NSW Government agency is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their Digital and Program Delivery team. In this role, you will lead end-to-end business analysis activities across complex digital programs, bringing structure and direction to evolving delivery environments.

Working collaboratively across business and technical teams, you will shape business needs, define solution direction, and engage senior stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of critical digital services supporting workers and industries across NSW.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and analysis activities, breaking down complex problems into structured requirements including user stories, process models and acceptance criteria
• Partner with product owners, project managers, developers and testers to ensure requirements are well understood and delivered effectively within agile or hybrid delivery models
• Facilitate structured workshops and stakeholder engagement across all levels, translating between business and technical perspectives to drive shared understanding
• Act as a trusted advisor to delivery leads and senior stakeholders, influencing solution direction and key decisions
• Produce clear, structured documentation maintaining end-to-end traceability of requirements from discovery through to implementation and handover
• Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to the design of future-state processes and operating models to improve customer and operational outcomes

Essential Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience delivering business analysis in complex digital environments with evolving requirements
• Strong analytical thinking, structured problem solving and stakeholder engagement skills across business and technical teams
• Proven ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and establish credibility quickly in fast-paced delivery contexts
