As our Manager Risk Frameworks D&A, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, governance and quality of risk information that underpins our Risk Management Framework and Strategy.
You'll sit within HBF's specialist second line risk function, independent from first line, and help uplift maturity, strengthen compliance with APRA standards, and enable deeper, more actionable risk insights across HBF. Your work will directly support Executive and Board‑level oversight of risk and help the business embed high‑quality risk data into everyday operations and strategic decisions.
About the role
Risk Information & Data Governance: You'll be the steward of our risk information, ensuring it's accurate, governed, consistent and traceable. You'll lead development and ongoing enhancement of our risk information governance framework creating clear risk data definitions, taxonomies and ownership structures. You will seek opportunities to innovate through automation and AI to enhance analytics, reporting and risk insights.
Risk Reporting: You'll support the design and delivery of reporting that gives leaders and our Board confidence. This includes developing and maintaining reporting frameworks aligned with APRA expectations and partnering with Data & Analytics, Risk Systems teams and all three lines to build dashboards and visualisation tools that elevate risk insights.
Stakeholder Partnership & Culture: You'll work closely with first line leaders to embed risk data practices into business as usual, helping teams understand and manage risk information with confidence. You'll also contribute to uplift in risk culture through communication, role modelling and promoting strong risk behaviors across HBF.
About you
You're a natural connector, someone who can translate detail into clarity, lift capability in others and influence without authority. You also have;
- A relevant tertiary qualification (Risk, Information Management, Data Science or similar)
- Strong understanding of APRA prudential standards including CPS 220, CPS 230 and CPS 234
- Experience with GRC platforms and risk management systems
- A passion for data quality, structure, governance and insight generation
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify issues, apply judgement and drive practical outcomes
- The ability to influence stakeholders across all levels and contribute to Committee reporting and external regulatory interactions
