ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re excited to be recruiting for an Accreditation Specialist within our Events & Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about cricket and major event delivery to play a key role in supporting the Accreditation Lead. In this position, you will help deliver the end-to-end accreditation program across a diverse range of competitions, including International Cricket, the Women’s and Men’s Big Bash Leagues (W/BBL), and Domestic Cricket. You’ll gain valuable experience working across high-profile events, collaborating with key stakeholders, and contributing to the smooth and secure operation of cricket matches and tournaments nationwide. Reporting to the Accreditation Lead you’ll be responsible for:
Supporting the delivery of the strategic plan for Australian Cricket’s accreditation program for International Cricket, Big Bash Leagues (W/BBL) and professional Men’s and Women’s domestic competitions
Assisting in the recruitment, development and management of casual accreditation staff for the upcoming season
Maintaining strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and Accreditation Group Managers and system users, assisting with all enquiries
Monitoring and managing stock levels of various supplies including passes, lanyards, signage and other items needed across all states and territories
assisting with administrative functions, including but not limited to staff payroll, service provider payments, and the procurement of equipment.
Providing operational support for accreditation delivery at matches and events, including coordination with venues and key stakeholders
Maintaining and updating accreditation systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
Providing on-the-ground support during peak periods, including match days or major events
Coordinating distribution and reconciliation of accreditation materials before and after events
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience in accreditation or a similar operational role
Highly organised, with strong time management skills and exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders and manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
Resourceful and proactive, with the ability to problem-solve and respond effectively to emerging issues
Ability to support the development of others through coaching, mentoring, and guidance
Willingness and ability to travel at short notice to support the delivery and management of accreditation activities across multiple states
