Business/Bid Manager or Coordinator

We're PTW Architects. We've been shaping the built environment for over 130 years — delivering architecture and interiors across Australia and internationally. We're a studio that takes design seriously, and we bring that same care to how we present ourselves and win work.

We're looking for a New Business Manager or Coordinator to join our Sydney team — someone who can drive our bids and submissions end-to-end, and bring genuine graphic design talent to how we tell our story to clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing the full lifecycle of bids, tenders and submissions — from EOI through to final lodgement and debrief
  • Designing compelling, visually sophisticated proposal documents and pitch presentations (InDesign is your natural home)
  • Working closely with our Directors to craft responses that land — clear writing, strong visuals, compelling narratives
  • Building and maintaining our content library — project references, CVs, imagery — so we're always ready to move fast
  • Contributing to the wider marketing programme: case studies, awards, social content and more

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of end-to-end bid coordination experience — architecture, engineering, planning or construction backgrounds are a great fit, but we're genuinely open to strong bid coordinators from other sectors. Transferable skills are very welcome here.
  • Strong graphic design skills — particularly Adobe InDesign — and an eye for layout, typography and visual storytelling. We want someone to think outside the box for imaginative layouts.
  • Good writing skills who can help turn complex technical content into clear, client-focused copy.
  • Someone organised and calm under deadline pressure, who is proactive and takes ownership and pride in their work.
  • Genuine curiosity about architecture and the built environment.

Ideal but not essential

  • AEC sector experience
  • Familiarity with NSW government procurement and tender formats
  • Experience with infographics, masterplans or site plan visualisation
