Eiloni Couture is an Australian fashion label creating one of a kind garments from vintage crochet, lace and reclaimed textiles. Started by a mother and daughter, the brand has grown from a lifelong love of sewing and making, with craftsmanship passed down across three generations of women in our family.

Every Eiloni piece is handmade in Sydney's Northern Beaches and designed to give beautiful old materials a second life, transforming them into modern pieces to be worn, loved and kept.

Role Description

This is a casual, on site role for an Assistant Seamstress based on the Northern Beaches. Working directly alongside our Founder, you’ll support the making of our garments from pinned concepts through to finished pieces. This role is focused on making rather than designing. We’re looking for someone who enjoys sewing, works with care and takes pride in a beautiful finish. You’ll help bring pieces to life while working with delicate vintage materials and maintaining the quality and craftsmanship Eiloni is known for.

As a small family run business, we’re after someone who enjoys being hands on, can work with good pace and is excited to be part of a warm and collaborative studio environment.

Responsibilities include

• Assist with sewing and garment construction

• Follow existing designs and sewing direction

• Work carefully with delicate vintage fabrics, crochet and lace

• Support hand finishing and quality control

• Assist with garment preparation and assembly

• Help maintain an organised and calm studio environment

This role would suit you if

• Have sewing or garment construction experience
