Our client is a globally recognized industrial technology manufacturer supplying engineered process equipment to customers across water, wastewater, mining, manufacturing, chemical processing, food & beverage and heavy industry sectors.
Due to continued growth within the Western Australian market, an opportunity exists for an ambitious External Sales Engineer / Territory Account Manager to take ownership of an established territory and drive further market expansion.
The Role
This is a true relationship-driven technical sales position with a balanced focus on both direct customer engagement and channel partner development.
Approximately 50% of your time will be spent managing and growing relationships with end users, contractors, consultants and asset owners, while the remaining 50% will focus on supporting and expanding an established distributor and channel partner network throughout Western Australia.
You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, providing technical solutions and growing market share across multiple industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an established WA territory
- Develop strong relationships with end users, consultants and contractors
- Support and expand channel partner and distributor relationships
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Conduct customer visits, site inspections and technical presentations
- Prepare quotations, proposals and tender submissions
- Provide application support and solution-based recommendations
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and CRM system
- Represent the business at industry events and customer meetings
- Deliver territory sales and profitability objectives
About You
We are interested in speaking with candidates who have experience selling technical or engineered products into industrial markets.
Experience within any of the following industries will be highly regarded:
- Pumps and pumping systems
- Valves and flow control equipment
- Water and wastewater treatment equipment
- Process and rotating equipment
You will ideally possess
- Previous external sales, business development or account management experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Technical aptitude and commercial awareness
- A proactive and self-motivated approach
- Ability to engage with both operational and executive stakeholders
- Mechanical, engineering or trade qualifications advantageous but not essential
- Current Australian driver's licence
