At Nextt, we’re looking for an experienced and proactive
Accounts Receivable Officer to join our collaborative Finance team supporting the disability and community services sector.
Your Role
As our Accounts Receivable Officer, you’ll be responsible for managing receivables across a fast-paced and complex NDIS environment.
From reconciliations and collections to resolving payment queries and supporting billing functions, you’ll help ensure smooth financial operations and strong cashflow outcomes.
You’ll work closely with internal teams, Plan Managers, participants, insurers and other stakeholders to investigate issues, resolve discrepancies and keep accounts moving.
No two days will look the same - this role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working in a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing receipting, payment allocation and reconciliations
- Monitoring aged receivables and following up outstanding accounts
- Resolving invoice, payment and funding queries
- Supporting billing and claiming processes during peak periods
- Working across systems including Salesforce and MYOB Acumatica
- Identifying process improvements and helping drive better outcomes
What We’re Looking For
You’re someone who enjoys digging into details, solving problems and building positive working relationships. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
You’ll Ideally Have
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, collections or finance administration
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
- Confidence working across multiple systems and stakeholders
- Experience within NDIS or multi-funding environments (highly regarded)
- Exposure to Salesforce, MYOB Acumatica or similar systems (desirable)
- Strong Excel skills
