The opportunity

We're looking for an Audit Senior to lead audit engagements for a varied client base, including corporates, not-for-profits and privately owned businesses. As part of our Team, you will undertake a variety of work for PKF NENW Audit & Assurance clients and provide them with excellent care and support, while working in a team focused on achieving the Firm's objectives and exceeding expectations. About you

  • CA / CPA qualified / or studying.
  • Strong leadership skills and mentoring skills.
  • Experience working with a varied client portfolio with direct client liaison.
  • 3 + years relevant experience.
  • Tech savvy with a working knowledge of different accounting software.
  • High level of integrity and a team player.
  • High level of problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, review their work and provide constructive feedback.
  • Prepare and review audit documentation, working papers and financial statement schedules.
  • Identify and assess audit risks, design and perform appropriate audit procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards, firm policies and independence requirements.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to client engagement partners.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with training and knowledge sharing.
  • Help with time budgeting and timely completion of engagements.
