About the team
The Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning team plays a critical strategic role for Pitcher Partners by anticipating future workforce demand, building capability, and ensuring the firm attracts, develops, and retains high-performing graduates and experienced professionals.
The team partner closely with senior leadership to provide market insights, talent trends, and candidate feedback to influence hiring decisions and plays in a key role in the growth of the company.
About the role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will proactively source high-quality candidates using a range of sourcing channels, including market mapping, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and other creative sourcing techniques to build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
To do so effectively you will partner closely with stakeholders in your portfolio to deeply understand role requirements and team culture. You will also conduct candidate screening to assess capability, motivation, values, and role fit while, as a Pitcher Partner representative, deliver a professional and inclusive candidate experience.

- Proven experience in candidate sourcing in a talent short market, utilising various tools to engage professionals through direct outreach.
- Confident communicator and negotiator - able to engage both senior leadership and sought after candidates and be recognised as a subject matter expert.
- A self-starter, results driven and passionate about what you do.
- Recruitment agency background, experience recruiting accounting and finance professionals or knowledge of WorkDay would all be advantageous, but not a pre-requisite.
