About this opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Workday Financial Business Analyst to support a large‑scale transformation program, translating strategic business objectives into high‑quality functional requirements and driving delivery in Workday solutions.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Translate transformation objectives into clear Workday Financial functional requirements
  • Elicit, document and validate current and future‑state processes, including end‑to‑end process mapping
  • Produce functional designs and solution options aligned with Workday capabilities and constraints
  • Identify and recommend process improvements across: Core Financials, Expenses, Financial Planning and Projects
  • Partner with business stakeholders, SMEs, technical teams and implementation vendors to deliver outcomes
  • Support project scope management across Jira and Signavio, including in‑scope clarification and change impact assessment
  • Own workstream deliverables, quality assurance and business sign‑off
  • Manage project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID), escalating where required
  • Prioritise and deliver work in line with program timelines and interdependencies
  • Work closely with change and impact teams to assess and manage business impacts of changes

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience as a Workday Financial Management Expert:

  • Proven end-to-end experience in delivering Workday Financial Management functional within large, complex multi-phase transformation programs
  • Demonstrated experience across full implementation lifecycle, including design, configuration, implementation and optimisation
  • Strong hands‑on knowledge and experience across core and adjacent Workday Financial Management modules
  • Strong experience producing high-quality functional designs, process maps and solution options
  • Confident and effective stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in working closely with senior leaders, SMEs and vendors
  • Strong delivery mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience working with tools such as Jira and Signavio (or similar)
