Yellow Canary is an AI-powered payroll compliance platform. We help large Australian employers make sure their people get paid correctly. It's a hard problem with real stakes: wage theft legislation, complex Modern Awards, enterprise clients who care deeply about getting it right.

We're a small (45 employees), high-output team and we're looking for someone to work directly with the founder and exec team across a range of things. Some of it genuinely interesting. Some of it not. That's what working at an early-stage company looks like.

If you've ever had the quiet thought that you might want to start something of your own one day, this is a good place to figure out whether you actually mean it.

What you'll work on

No two weeks will look the same. You might be coordinating an RFP response, owning a compliance process, drafting a briefing document, or helping the team stay on top of operations. You'll get real context on how a scaling B2B SaaS business actually runs.

What we're looking for

• Based in Sydney or the Illawarra
• Exceptional written and verbal communication: this is the job, not a nice-to-have
• AI native: you use these tools every day and you know when to put the human back in the loop
• Organised, reliable, and not precious about the unglamorous stuff
• Full working rights in Australia
• We don't care where you went to Uni (or if you even went) or what you studied

Who This Suits
