About Our Client
This opportunity sits within the ANZ division of a large, multinational business. The business is a leader in their field at home and abroad and has deep roots in Brisbane, with many of their team displaying the long tenure only seen within the best employers.With a constant focus on making sure they keep the business operating at the highest levels, they are now eager to bring on board additional resource to review and improve their finance processes.
The Finance Process Specialist will join on a 12-18 month contract, and primarily be tasked with the following:
- Lead complex accounting operations with strong technical expertise to ensure accurate, compliant outcomes.
- Drive end‑to‑end process transformation to improve efficiency, controls, and automation readiness.
- Deliver high‑quality financial insights and reporting for strategic and operational decisions.
- Assess workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with automation, Shared Services, and cross‑functional teams to implement optimised processes.
- Represent Accounting on major initiatives to ensure policy, regulatory, and business alignment.
- Provide structured reporting on findings, root causes, and improvement recommendations.
The Successful Applicant
The candidate we are seeking for this Finance Process Specialist role should clearly demonstrate:
- A degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Advanced capability with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Proven experience in process mapping, optimisation, and continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exposure to finance transformation, shared services, or automation initiatives
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders.
What's on Offer
