Service Delivery Coordinator (Scheduling)

Burnie Brae

Do what you love - and make a difference every day.

For over 40 years, Burnie Brae has been at the heart of the Brisbane North and Moreton Bay communities. More than a service provider, we’re a place where people feel welcomed, supported, and truly cared for.

We are currently seeking a Service Delivery Coordinator (Scheduling) to join our Care Services team on a 10-Month Fixed-Term Part-Time basis, working Monday to Friday from 10:30am to 4:30pm. The contract is expected to conclude in approximately March 2027.

This is a fast-paced and rewarding role focused on coordinating and matching direct care staff to client needs, managing schedules and administrative tasks with accuracy, and providing responsive support to resolve client and service delivery matters. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our clients receive reliable, high-quality care and support every day.

At Burnie Brae, we value flexibility and work-life balance. Following initial training, this role offers the opportunity to work from home for up to three days per week where operationally suitable.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for Burnie Brae clients, ensuring their service needs are met efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Respond to client calls and perform callbacks professionally and empathetically.
  • Match direct care staff to client needs and coordinate replacements for absences.
  • Accurately assess client requirements and recommend appropriate solutions or services.
  • Allocate shifts and manage rosters for direct care staff according to availability.
  • Handle general client and staff requests, escalating to the Service Delivery Team Manager when required.
  • Maintain and update client information in iCare or other relevant databases.
  • Perform administration and reporting tasks as needed.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone with both heart and skill - a person who is organised, caring, and ready to make a real difference for our clients. You’ll have:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy scheduling or administrative role (desirable)
  • Experience managing schedules in a fast-paced environment (preferred)
  • Experience in community services (preferred)
  • Statutory Declaration
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • A genuine passion for supporting people’s health and wellbeing
