About the Role

Ready to lead large-scale digital health programs that genuinely impact millions of Australians?

We're looking for an experienced and delivery-focused Program Director to lead major transformation initiatives across Telstra Health's core platforms, including the modernisation of My Health Record. You'll be responsible for driving end-to-end program delivery across multiple workstreams, managing senior stakeholder relationships, and navigating complex government and enterprise environments that support Telstra Health's long-term vision for connected digital healthcare.

Working at the intersection of technology, healthcare and national impact, you'll help shape the future of digital health in Australia.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing senior stakeholder relationships to deliver strategic program outcomes across complex delivery environments
• Partnering with ADHA, government stakeholders and major technology providers to support successful program execution
• Overseeing program budgets, governance frameworks and resource allocation
• Leading cross-functional teams and vendors to drive coordinated delivery outcomes
• Driving Agile program delivery while proactively managing risks, issues and dependencies
• Building high-performing, collaborative teams focused on accountability and continuous improvement

About You

• Demonstrated success leading large-scale complex programs valued between $20M-$100M
• Proven delivery of enterprise ICT and digital transformation initiatives, ideally within digital health
• Strong relationship management skills across customers, government and executive stakeholders
• Experience managing program governance, financials, risk and organisational change outcomes
• Technical understanding of Agile delivery tools, Azure DevOps, CI/CD environments and healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7
• You thrive in complexity, lead with influence, and are passionate about delivering meaningful outcomes

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

• Ideally, you hold a Bachelor's degree in both Business and Computer Science/IT or a related field.
• Professional certification or accreditation in project management.
• You must be an Australian citizen with current or the ability to obtain baseline security clearance.
